En garde—Ready—FENCE! The LHS-VHHS Thundercats Fencing team brings you a four-day Introduction to Fencing Camp for high school and middle school fencers. Experienced high school fencers are welcome to join for extra practice time.
This year, Fencing Camp is Monday through Thursday, June 20-23, from 3-5 pm in the VHHS field house.

Additional COVID safety plans may be implemented at the discretion of D128.
Instructors: Thundercats alumni and upperclassman high school fencing team members.

Equipment will be provided for new fencers, but if you have fencing equipment, please bring it to camp. Please dress in a tshirt, shorts, and flexible sneakers. Bring a water bottle and a sweat towel. (Please no food in the field house)

This camp will allow new fencers to try different weapons: saber, epee, and foil. Our goal is to introduce fencers to basic foot work and fencing skills to understand the nature of basic fencing bouts and scoring. This camp gives high school fencers the opportunity to preview the sport prior to winter competition and practice season.
